In 2006, we will celebrate the 10th anniversary of American Management
Association (China). The past 10 years have witnessed us quest and
grow, and corporate training bloom and blossom along with the increase
of China economy.
Today, we are happy to see a lot of changes are taking place: more
and more clients are connecting training with execution of corporate
strategy; more and more clients are continually investing on training
to develop their talents; more and more globally leading training
tools and methodologies are introduced to China. All these inspiring
progresses firm our confidence in the future.
In the past 10 years we have made achievements in the following
areas, which are crucial for our development in the next 10 years.
First, we have gathered a group of clients who are strictly demanding
with us and have high expectation of us. They are our most valuable
assets. With shared understanding of training, we execute training
programs together and forge a long-term partnership. It is then proven
that effective training can create great and sustainable value for
the organization, and that we are able to create such value. We sincerely
thank them.
Second, we have built a high-quality, high-energy team. Our training
consultants, account managers, R&D specialists and service staff
work together to continuously learn and improve their knowledge, skills
and service quality. With the rapid business growth, we set up three
offices in Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou. The team, culture, process
and system we have built so far provides the platform from which we
will expand into the future.
Third, we persist to “Consultative Training” as our strategic positioning
to provide OD solutions for our clients. Through ongoing investment
in R&D, we have built our knowledge and program framework that
answers the needs of China market. With AMA (China) Leadership Competence
Model as the core, this framework maps a clear blueprint for Chinese
managers to develop their capabilities. Meanwhile, we have originated
practical and effective program design and delivery approaches that
enable us to accomplish the most challenging program customization/development
assignments. By seriously implementing the “Organization Scan – Performance
Analysis – Solution Design – Implementation – Evaluation – Continuous
Improvement” training cycle, we seek to solve clients’ problems effectively.
Lastly, we have learned that learning is not merely increasing know-how;
it is more day-to-day practicing. The ultimate end of learning is
to achieve a balanced life and pursue the meaning of life. Through
continuous learning and practice, we aspire to become the clients’
most preferred and respected organization.
If we are allowed to say that in the past 10 years we have built
a “not bad” company, then in the next 10 years, we want to be a “good”
company, and after another 10 years, we want to become an “excellent”
company. In Year 2006, we will continue to strive to return your attention
and support!
Sincerely yours,

Peter Kao
